Country Road Quilters, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the appreciation of, and contribute to the knowledge of, the art of quilt making; to promote fellowship, mutual aid and common interests; to encourage quilt making and collecting; to encourage the growth of the knowledge of quilting techniques, textiles, the history of patterns and quilt makers; and to sponsor and support quilting activities.
As a non-profit organization, we support several local organization with donations throughout the year. In 2016, we donated 482 pillowcases and 4 quilts to Shands Hospital that will be distributed to patients in the children's ward and other areas of the hospital as needed.
In addition to supporting local organizations with our donations, we also host local and national speakers, organize bus trips, encourage new quilting techniques with demos presented by our own members, enjoy social time before and show-and-tells after each meeting, and host a biennial Quilt Show featuring quilts made by our own members!
Due to COVID-19, meetings are currently being held via ZOOM. Send a message using the CONTACT (on the white bar above) for more information.
